Our annual Fund Raiser is helping to raise money for the new Chesapeake Animal Shelter. Bring your furry Friends for a walk in the park to help their homeless buddies. Donations will help purchase items needed at the new shelter, such as:
Dog Beds
Cat Condos
Feeding Stations
Play Yard Equipment
As so much more
Here is what you need to do. Register to walk the trail with your two legged friend. The registration fee is only $5.00, but don't forgot to get pledges to support your efforts. If you collect a minimum of $50.00 in pledges, the registration fee is free and you receive one free meal ticket.
There is a prize for the "Top Earning Walker".
The trail is one mile long, but walk what you are able. It runs through Deep Creek Locks Park which is a little uneven, so please wear your walking shoes. There will be a water stop half way through.
Keep in mind all dogs MUST be on a leash at all times and remember to pick up after your pooch.
There will be lots of fun, entertainment, music and food for the entire family. If you're dogless, can't come or just want to watch, you can still Hound your friends, family and co-workers to make a donation to this great cause and come along for a stroll.
